Tour Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrival in Istanbul
Upon your arrival we will pick you up from the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 02 : Byzantine & Ottoman Relics (B-L)
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Old City.
In this day you will be able to see:
Hippodrome: The former center of sprotive and political activities of Constantinople. You will be able to see the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi and fountain of Willhelm II..
Blue Mosque: One of the biggest mosques of Istanbul from 17th century architecture is one of the principal adornments on the skyline of Istanbul. Also famous for its blue tiles and 6 minarest.
Topkapi Palace: The former imperial residence from where the Great Ottoman Empire was ruled. Today a spectacular museum that has one of the largest collections of Chinese and Japanese porcelain and the very famous treasury of the Royal Family.
Lunch will be provided in a traditional Turkish restaurant.
St.Sophia: The magnificent Byzantine Church of all times; one of the finest and largest architectural works of art in the world..
Grand Bazaar: In addition to its historical importance, it's a bazaar that will tempt even the nonshoppers with its rich collection of precious handmade carpets, jewellery, leather and souvenirs.
Suleymaniye Mosque: masterpiece of Sinan, built between 1550 and 1557, it is one of the best Works of the Ottoman Empire, built in the name of Suleyman The Magnificent during the 16th century, considered as the best amongst the imperial mosques.
After the tour you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 03 : Bosphorus & Two Continents (B-L)
08:30 You will be picked up from your hotel for Full day tour of Two Continents.
In this day you will be able to see:
Spice Bazaar: mystical smells of different aromas of various spices. Shops selling fruits, vegetables, flowers, fish etc..
Bosphorus Cruise: through the waterway separating the two continents, Europe and Asia, with a possibility to take photographs of marble palaces, ancient wooden villas of Ottoman architecture besides modern residentials and luxurious apartments.
Lunch will be provided in a traditional Turkish restaurant.
Dolmabahce Palace: The last residence for Ottoman Sultans with 365 rooms and 22 saloons. Famous with the great collection of European antiquity, furniture and 4.5 tons chandelier.
Bosphorus Bridge: unique chance to step from one continent (Europe) to another (Asia) in 2 minutes.
Camlica Hill: exposing a panoramic view of Istanbul and Bosphorus from the best point of view.
After the tour you will be transferred to your Hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 04 : Princes' Island Tour (B-L)
8:30 am - You will be picked-up from your hotel for a full day tour of the Princess Islands. Then you will get on board the local shared passenger boat for a short trip to reach Buyukada or the Princess Islands. See the traditional wooden houses and enjoy the panoramic views from the Islands. Experience horse-drawn carriage rides through the narrow streets and view the summer homes of some of the most affluent Turks. Lunch will be provided in a traditional Turkish restaurant; a fish entree is recommended. At the end of the tour, you will be dropped back to your hotel at approximately 5:30 pm
Day 05 : Istanbul (B)
Today is at leisure and overnight in Istanbul.
Day 06 : Departure / Transfer to Airport (B)
After breakfast check out from hotel (before 12:00), transfer to Istanbul Ataturk Airport regarding your flight details. End of tour and services. (If you would like, you can extend your trip by adding extra nights in Istanbul, please advise.
